Our day trip to the Isle Of Wight started in Ryde. We jumped aboard the bus to take us to Alum Bay stopping on the way at Butterfly and Fountain World. A few hours later we jumped back onto the bus to take us to Alum Bay changing at Newport. You can get some great views from the top deck of the bus as you pass by the towns and the countryside.
We arrived at Alum Bay but still had to walk down loads of steps to get to the beach,
By the time we got to the bottom of the steps this family were already splashing in the sea.
We soon found a good spot to set up camp.
It wasn't long before I was in the sea.
Sadly time was up and had to drip up those steps back to the bus stop.
